Chamlong Srimuang, a co-leader of the People's Alliance for Democracy, Thursday alleged that the government was behind the attacks against the PAD early morning.
He alleged that the government sent attackers to lob a grenade against the PAD guards at the Makkhawan Bridge at 3 am.
He said the government then deployed four specially-trained attackers to fire at the PAD guards at the Misakawan Intersection at 4 am.
"These four were fully armed and appeared to have been trained," Chamlogn said.
After the attack, two could not escape from the scene and hid behind trees near the Education Ministry, Chamlong alleged. He said 10 more men later came out from the ministry to rescue the two....
