Bt35 million donated to help injured, slain PAD protesters

The People's Alliance for Democracy has raised over Bt35 million of donations for those injured and killed in the police's crackdown on protesters on October 7.

Pipop Thongchai and Chamlong Srimuang, co-leaders of the PAD, told a press conference Wednesday that the public had so far donated Bt35.144 million to help the injured protesters and families of two slain persons.

Pipop said Bt29.616 million was donated to help the injured protesters. About Bt5.528 million poured in to support the two persons killed in the bloody crackdown.
