Sukhumbhand vows to serve all sections

Democrat Party candidate MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra humbly accepted congratulations yesterday on his possible victory in the Bangkok governor elections after exit polls showed he was ahead of other candidates.He said he would like to wait for the official count before making any comment. But if he wins the election, he would serve all sections of society as Bangkok governor, he said.

Meanwhile, Pheu Thai candidate Yuranan Pamorn-montri thanked all those who voted for him. He vowed to continue playing a political role even if he lost the battle.
