Nurses honoured for rural work

For their work in making health care services in remote areas more affordable and comfortable for people living in the Southern and North Eastern provinces, two nurses have won this year's outstanding rural nurse award from the Rural Nurse Club of Thailand.

Pilaiporn Kaewkiew,41, and Laddawan Lenthammi, 50, received the awards during the club's annual conference last week.

Pilaiporn has worked at Pattani'Yalang district hospital for 18 years, and Laddawan at Maha Sarakham's Nadoon district hospital for 26 .
