Children find out what it's like to sit in the hot seat, despite tight security

Many parents attending the National Children Day's celebrations at Government House were upset yesterday when they were barred from taking pictures of their children sitting in the prime minister's seat.The new ban on family photography inside the Thai Ku Fa building was due to tightened security measures around Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.

A woman was also prevented yesterday from handing a gift box to Abhisit due to security concerns. Abhisit proved popular with children, however, and many queued up for his autograph.
