Demonstrators led by the Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship dispersed at 11 pm at the Democracy Monument.
At 10 pm, former PM's Office minister Jakrapob Penkair addressed the crowd and read a poem in praise of taxi driver who e crashed his car into a military tank and later committed suicide to protest the 2006 coup.
About 500 DAAD-led demonstrators left Sanam Luang for the Democracy Monument at 9 pm.
The number of demonstrators appeared to be less than the number of people who came out to celebrate the Halloween night at Khaosan Road.
