Health volunteers to be paid expenses next year

The Public Health Ministry plans to ask the Cabinet for Bt4 billion to improve the lives of 830,000 health volunteers across the country, the new minister, Witthaya Kaewparadai said yesterday.

"This project is an urgent policy for this government, " he said at a meeting with top health officials on his first day as public health minister.
